  • Emmitt Smith, CCIM Chairman

    Emmitt Smith is the Chairman of his namesake E Smith Advisors, a full-service real estate services and solutions company with a unique scope for developing and executing business opportunities. Emmitt’s role utilizes his 12-year experience as a real estate professional, and CCIM certification to focus on new business development, client relationships, vision and strategy. In partnership with Newmark Knight Frank (NKF), E Smith Advisors, a minority-owned company creates a global network with operations in more than 400 offices worldwide offering an integrated service platform to a diverse portfolio of clients.

    Prior to joining forces with Newmark to form E Smith Advisors, Emmitt served as Chairman of E Smith Legacy Holdings, a position he still holds today. E Smith Legacy Holdings combines domain knowledge and experienced professionals to create, finance and execute unique real estate solutions, which are as diverse as their client portfolio.

    Ever the visionary and servant-leader, Emmitt recognized the need to expand services to meet clients’ ever-changing and unique requirements. Areas of expansion included construction consulting, project management, site selection, acquisition, disposition, portfolio management, facility management, business and economic incentives and financing and capital solutions.

    A graduate of the University of Florida, Emmitt Smith enjoyed an illustrious career in the National Football League with the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals, earning such accolades as the NFL's All-Time Leading Rusher, Super Bowl XXVIII MVP and induction to the NFL Hall of Fame.

  • David Mosley President and Chief Executive Officer
    David Mosley serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of E Smith Advisors, a partnership with Newmark Knight Frank (NKF) and sets the strategic direction for growth and expansion of the professional portfolio, including partnerships with national and global corporate entities committed to diversity and inclusion in commercial real estate. Currently serving as COO, E Smith Legacy Holdings, David’s expertise led the expansion of the holding company’s segments focused on commercial real estate, infrastructure social and civil. David is a proven expert and successful entrepreneur in franchise business models and franchise operations. He has provided regional and national clients with a broad range of services in business development, business analysis and financial management, franchising and franchise operations. With over 24-years’ experience prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, David was a commercial banker with First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank), responsible for increasing minority lending. Also, had a successful home infusion therapy business. He is a graduate of Morgan State University and currently resides in Maryland where he oversees operations in Texas, Baltimore, Philadelphia and globally.
  • Tamela Thornton, CCIM Head of Client Services
    Tamela Thornton brings her 30 years of experience in real estate management, analytics and development to her role as Head of Client Services for E Smith Advisors. Tamela is responsible for new business development, strategic planning, market analysis, option development, site selection and transaction management. She is a founding partner of E Smith Legacy Holdings, where she was responsible for leading business development for corporate real estate transitions. As leader of a full-service real estate advisory practice, Tamela has provided national and global clients with a wide range of services, including developing market strategy, site selection, leasing advisory, national retail roll-outs, global portfolio advisory, space utilization, strategic planning and financial services. Prior to joining E Smith Legacy, Tamela served as an executive for YUM! Brands and Starbucks, where she led the Central West Region construction and development team. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and resides in Dallas, Texas.
  • Neal Golden Vice Chairman
    Neal Golden serves as Vice Chairman of E Smith Advisors, a partnership with Newmark Knight Frank (NKF). He is responsible for growing the E Smith Advisors brand throughout the Southwest, as well as nationally and globally. Neal utilizes his extensive expertise in the commercial retail sector and his experience representing national law firms, financial institutions and hospitality services to consult with businesses regarding ways in which to utilize best practices in a manner that is fashioned to their individual requirements. Neal joined NKF in 2002 to lead the company’s national expansion as head of U.S. brokerage. Throughout his notable career, he has provided national and global clients with a wide range of services, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing advisory, national retail roll-outs, global portfolio advisory, space utilization, strategic planning and financial services.
